Bithia’s quirky theme for her debut matched the energy she always brings with her. You see, she is not your typical girl. She has a mind of her own, hence, she knew exactly what kind of party would appeal to her. Initially, though, she didn’t like to have a party at all for her 18th birthday.
But her mom, Veluz, would not let this milestone pass without any celebration. She gave us the least instructions and within a few days, she approved the venue, finalized the bare essentials, and sent out the invitations. We also contacted Teddy Manuel for flower and succulents as table decorations.
A group of 60 of the closest family and friends assembled at Havana Club to surprise the birthday girl. Seemingly confused, Bithia entered the hall as everyone burst into the “Happy Birthday” song. She was led to the birthday cake decorated with sugar succulents—a favorite of Bithia. Guests shared the mini cupcakes that went with the cake.
After a few speeches led by Veluz, food was served. Bithia enjoyed the rest of the evening hopping from one table to another thanking her guests for coming to the party. Indeed, celebrations need not be big to be heartfelt.
Happy birthday, Bithia! May you continue to be a source of happiness and pride. We love you.
