Armed with piles of photos of how they envisioned the debut, Gabie and her mom Angeli thought of having a white-on-white Cappadocia- themed party. Everything fell into place when event stylist Teddy Manuel entered the scene and combined the various elements into one coherent and cohesive whole
Inside Manila Pen’s Rigodon Ballroom, Teddy installed drapes of cream fabric with silk leaves and flowers, creating a cave effect. Lighted hot air balloons and additional chandeliers were placed in the ceiling for that total Cappadocia experience.
Gabie stood out when she made her grand entrance. She was resplendent in her fully beaded red ball gown by Mark Bumgarner. Dolled by renowned make-up artist Lala Flores, she was beaming with pride as she was greeted by her family and friends. The program kicked off with the father and the debutante poignantly singing “You are the Reason,” together.
Entertainment was provided by the band, She’s Only Sixteen. DJ Rammy Bitong made sure that everyone had a good time and enjoyed every minute of a memorable night filled with fun, laughter, and excitement.
Thamia was a picture of a cool and self-assured young woman when she emerged in a canary yellow ball gown by Veluz Reyes. The gown was sprinkled with streams of silver sequins, mimicking shooting stars.
